Mid-pandemic, Jane Davidson, the Artistic Director of The Sunshine Coast Festival of the Written Arts, had a brilliant and beautiful idea.
Instead of mounting the festival online, she wanted to create something tangible. A legacy project. And that became Monday Was a Simpler Time: Reflections on a Pandemic, a gorgeous anthology of new work by sixteen Canadian artists.
I was thrilled to write something new as a direct response to what we were all living through in 2020. And it’s an honour to be published alongside such great artists.
